r-bioc-edger software package provides Empirical analysis of digital gene expression data in R, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install r-bioc-edger
r-bioc-edger is installed in your system.
Make ensure the r-bioc-edger package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep r-bioc-edger *
You will get with r-bioc-edger package name, version, architecture and description in a table
